WHAT HAS HAPPENED?
On Monday 18 September a communication from Queensland Health noted our Easy serve breast fillet shredded chicken 2kg pack size product (Batch code: A5497) as the probable cause of 5 listeria cases in that state, 3 in NSW and 1 in Victoria.
As part of the ongoing investigation process NSW Food Authority conducted an inspection of our Marrickville headquarters on Tuesday 19 September and we have issued a trade recall to customers who received product from the batch to return or dispose of it.

ARE ANY OTHER PRODUCTS BEING RECALLED?
No other products are being recalled. There is no information to suggest that there is any food safety issue in relation to any other products sold by us.
HOW ARE WE RESPONDING?
We are continuing to work closely with the regulators and carrying out further testing as part of the investigation.
