From Local Deli to National Pioneer

M&J Chickens was founded by Mina and Jenny Souris in 1982, a young married couple who wanted to bring a local delicatessen to their neighbourhood of Wiley Park NSW. What started as a simple idea grew into a large enterprise with the inception of their first factory in Marrickville NSW. With the growth of the business, came the need for an advanced refrigerated fleet, automated machinery, state of the art facilities and valuable employees. Today, we are proud to be servicing businesses Nationally & Globally, and establishing factories in Queensland, North Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

We pride ourselves on being constantly innovative and solution focused, offering the best value and utilising all parts of the bird. We specialise in portion control, cuts and value-added products. The introduction of our cooked value add product range has enabled us to create an array of products that cater to the food service industry, allowing for fast, premium solutions.
